The messy saga involving BBNaija’s Phyna and the Dangote Group has just gotten messier. Social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has weighed in, claiming Phyna “used” him and issued a stern warning to the Dangote Group.
The whole thing started when Phyna revealed that her sister, Ruth, was in a terrible accident allegedly caused by a Dangote truck. Phyna had accused the company’s reps of breaking their promise to move Ruth to a better hospital, leaving her frustrated and suspicious.
Now, VDM is telling his side of the story. He says Phyna contacted him, and he helped set up a meeting with Dangote’s team. A formal meeting with lawyers was even scheduled, but VDM claims Phyna suddenly backed out. According to VDM, she allegedly decided to go with her own lawyer after Dangote’s reps supposedly admitted they were “scared of VDM.”
Despite the alleged betrayal, VDM says he’s forgiven her, though he didn’t hold back his feelings. “You used me, and now they are playing you,” he said. “I forgive you and I still love you genuinely—and I hope your sister is taken care of.”
VDM wasn’t done yet. He also put the Dangote Group on notice, warning that he would shut down all their operations in Edo State if Ruth’s health gets worse or if she doesn’t survive. The ongoing drama has sparked a heated online debate, with many questioning corporate accountability and whether Phyna made a mistake by sidelining the popular activist.
