The body of the former President Mohammadu Buhari has finally arrives from London in a Nigeria Air Force Aircraft at Umar Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina State.
The corpse of the former Commander-In-Chief was welcomed by the ruling President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, accompanied by governors, ministers and lawmakers.
The body of Gen. Mohammadu Buhari is being taken to his hometown, Daura in Katsina State for the Islamic burial.
Today was declared National mourning day by President Bola Tinubu to show respect to his late predecessor.
Those in attendance of the burial are, Former Vice President Osinbajo, Chairman of Dangote group, Mr. Aliko Dangote, Governor Dikko Radda, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas and Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau.
Members of the ruling political party, All Progressive Congress are in attendance including former governors, ministers and military officials.
