
Terry Bollea who is known with his stage name “Hulk Hogan” dies at 71. WWE confirmed the news earlier today. The wrestling legend passed away a few hours ago today, July 24, 2025.
It was reported by the Clearwater Police Department in Florida that they received a call of cardiac arrest and responded immediately. Hulk was treated at the scene and rushed to Morton Plant hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The WWE company said, “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away.”
Hulk Hogan is well known as One of Pop Culture’s most recognized figures in the entertainment industry. He was one wrestler that helped the WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.
Hogan began his professional wrestling career in 1977 during the World Wrestling Federation(WWF) era which is now known as World Wrestling Entertainment(WWE).
Whatcha Gonna Do When Hulkamania Runs Wild On You!?” was one of his more popular catchphrases and he, as “The Hulkster” would put a hand behind his ear to hear the roar of the crowds. Hulk Hogan was well known in the United States and diaspora.
Hogan was married three times, first to Linda Bollea from 1993 to 2009. The former couple had two children, Brooke and Nick.
Hogan married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010 but they filed for divorce in October 2021 after 11 years of marriage.
Hogan is survived by his two children and wife Sky Daily.
