The gossip blog noted that the couple have been throwing shades at each other on social media, inciting that the couple was undergoing a rough patch in their marriage.
The post triggered comments from online users, who began to speculate the possibility of a marital feud between the Nollywood couple.
Recent reports and social media activity have sparked rumors of a potential divorce, with some fans noticing Peggy without her wedding ring in recent videos.
Some people commented it has been long the couple posted a picture and video of themselves on social media confirming the alleged feud between them.
However, the actress reacted to the comment which gained her attention, where a user identified as @adamma_nora claimed the marriage wouldn’t last forever because Peggy forced Leonard to marry her.
Peggy Ovire reacted to the comment via her Instagram story, blasting the troll for criticizing her fellow woman.
She wrote,

Peggy is the youngest of six children. She earned a bachelor degree in Banking and Finance at the Ambrose Alli University, Edo State.
She got married to Nollywood Actor and Filmmaker, Fredrick Leonard in November 2022.
In December 27, 2024, Fredrick addressed the ongoing rumors of marital issues with his wife Peggy Ovire after two years of their marriage.
He wrote on his instagram account, “Y’all should leave us alone! Since we got married, y’all have been sniffing around like hungry dogs, looking for what you will never find.” He clarified that their marriage is private and not open to public scrutiny.
Fredrick also wrote, “marriage is not a form of control, emphasising his wife’s independence. He explained that Peggy is free to post photos without him, choose not to wear her wedding ring, travel alone, wear short dresses, and live happily without being judged by outsiders.”
