A recent statement by Apostle Johnson Suleman, Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, has ignited a lively discussion. During a church service, Suleman addressed a congregant’s question, asserting that oral sex is not a sin for married couples.
In a video that has since gone viral, Suleman is heard saying, “Anything you do with your wife indoors is not a sin. So long as it’s your wife and both of you agreed.” He acknowledged his view might be controversial, stating, “I know many will not agree with me, but oral sex is not a sin.”
He clarified his position, explaining that for him, sexual acts are only sinful if they are tied to “fetish, ritual, or diabolical practices,” emphasizing the sanctity of the marital bed. “So long as it is not fetish, a ritual, or diabolical, it’s not wrong,” he explained.
To counter potential criticism, Suleman challenged those who might argue against using the same mouth for worship and for oral sex. “Don’t you lie and gossip with the same mouth?” he asked.
The pastor’s remarks have led to a flurry of reactions on social media. Some users have praised his perspective as modern and realistic, while others have condemned it as inappropriate for a religious leader.
“This one na pastor?…giving head is not a sin keh… Nawa o,” one X (formerly Twitter) user wrote. Another commenter expressed disgust, stating, “Oral sex is disgusting, I wonder how human beings discovered they could do that.”
However, many have come to his defense. One user tweeted, “Yes, it is not a sin as long as you’re doing it with your wife or husband.” Yet, others remain firmly opposed, with one user reacting, “Jail up this man asap. Like see what a man of God is saying.”
