President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria, concluding his 10-day working vacation ahead of the initially scheduled date.
According to a statement released on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president arrived in Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
Tinubu had embarked on the trip on September 4, spending a portion of his time in France and engaging in diplomatic discussions. Notably, he held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, where the two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation for mutual prosperity and global stability.
The president was previously expected to return to his duties on September 22.
