Inside the Big Brother Naija house, a seemingly simple birthday breakfast has sparked a major conflict. Housemate Dede went to great lengths to give Koyin a special birthday treat, creating a tense situation with her fellow housemates.
To celebrate Koyin’s birthday, Dede prepared a meal of Indomie and fried fish for breakfast in bed.
The gesture, while thoughtful, caused an uproar because Dede is not part of the team that won the week’s wager. This meant she technically had no access to the protein in the house, which belonged to the winning team.
A Controversial Move
The tension began when Victory was seen taking fish from the freezer, leading to a heated argument with Kaybobo and Rooboy. It was in the middle of this clash that Dede calmly walked up, took a fish herself, and began cooking.
The move immediately angered other housemates, including Big Soso, Bright, Faith, and Kuture, who could be seen expressing their frustration.
Despite the raised voices and flying accusations, Dede remained focused on her mission: preparing a special meal for Koyin.
When housemate Mide tried to warn her about the brewing drama, Dede simply explained that she had gotten permission from the Head of House, Zita. It was later confirmed that Zita had indeed given her a pass to take a single fish for her meal.

While Mide passed the information to the group, Bright insisted that the Head of House shouldn’t have the authority to decide how the wager winners share their food. This point, though seemingly logical, highlighted the power struggleand “veto power” that Zita appeared to be exercising as the new HOH.
In the end, Dede succeeded in her mission. She delivered a priceless birthday treat—Indomie, veggies, fried fish, and a touch of love—to a grateful Koyin, making his birthday a memorable one inside the house.
