The former President of Nigeria who was seriously ill due to an undisclosed illness died in a clinic at London, United Kingdom.
The former spokesman, Garba Shehu announced the news of his death few hours ago on X
He wrote;

The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.
Mohammadu Buhari was a Nigerian politician and Major General who served as Major Head of State from 31st December to 27 August 1985.
He also became President of Nigeria for two terms from year 2015 to 2023.
