Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage is still on the hunt for her ideal partner, a journey she recently joked about in an interview. The singer, known for her hit song “Somebody’s Son,” confessed that her dating checklist might be a bit too specific.
“I am still looking for someone’s son. I don’t have one yet, and I think it’s because I’m looking for specific things,” she said.
Savage listed a few of her “exclusive” preferences with a laugh, including a partner who has “a private plane, a yacht,” and “doesn’t have baby mama drama.”
She questioned if her high standards were the reason for her single status.
The artist also had some playful advice for fellow singles, encouraging them to try a unique method inspired by her interviewer, Shannon.
“Listen, if you’re still looking for somebody’s son, this is Shannon’s advice: listen to ‘Somebody’s Son’ thirty times a day for thirty days. By the 31st day, you’d get somebody’s son, but I can’t guarantee you what kind of person you’re going to get,” she joked.
