The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, who was reported missing on Wednesday, September 3, has been found. Mbadiwe is the brother of reality television stars Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe.
According to a statement from DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, the Deputy Spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Odera Mbadiwe left his Victoria Island residence on September 1 in his father’s Nissan 350Z Convertible and did not return. His family filed a missing person report with the Victoria Island Police Division on September 3, 2025.
Acting on a directive from Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, a thorough investigation was initiated. Mbadiwe was subsequently located in a distressed state in the Mile 2 area of Lagos, thanks to actionable intelligence and public support. He has since been reunited with his family and is receiving medical care. The vehicle was also recovered during the investigation.
Commissioner Jimoh commended the swift response of police operatives and the public’s cooperation, stating that their assistance was instrumental in locating Mbadiwe. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to ensuring the safety of all residents and encouraged the public to continue reporting similar incidents promptly.
